Baked Strawberry Donuts

Fastnacht Day is a big deal in PA! You can find donuts for sale at the neighborhood store, most local churches and most coffee shops. A PA Dutch Fastnacht is traditionally made with potatoes, so it’s also known as a Potato Donut. If you ever visit the PA Farm Show, the Potato Donut is a hot seller. The donuts are fried than served plain or dusted with powdered sugar.
